Guernsey Housing Association (GHA) has appointed Victoria Sloan as Chief Financial Officer, completing its senior leadership team as it continues to deliver affordable homes for Guernsey.
Victoria brings more than 20 years of commercial financial services experience from Praxis, where she was Director of the Pensions Division. She joins Chief Executive Vic Slade and Chief Operating Officer Lisa de Kooker, who joined GHA from the States of Guernsey in February 2025.
Together, the three bring experience spanning housing, public service, operations and the commercial sector.
As a not-for-profit organisation, GHA is focused on providing good-quality, affordable homes for islanders. It works alongside the States of Guernsey, developers and other partners to help meet Guernsey’s housing needs, while continuing to support its existing tenants and properties.
Vic Slade, Chief Executive of the GHA, said: 'Victoria joins us at a really important point for GHA. Building a solid team been a real priority, and with Victoria’s appointment, we now have experience across housing, government and the private sector.
‘What matters is what we can do with that experience. We have a lot to deliver, both for the people who already call a GHA property home and for those who need an affordable home in the future, and having the right team around us will help us deliver.’
Victoria Sloan added: ‘After more than 20 years in the commercial sector, I wanted to bring my financial expertise to an organisation where I could make a more tangible impact forthe community.
'GHA has a clear sense of purpose and real ambition behind it, and housing is something that impacts every family on this island in one way or another. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in alongside Vic, Lisa and the rest of the team.’
